Sadly, I suspect the bus shape might not have the immediate toddler-appeal of the book benches. London has plenty of other distractions for lively minded tots though (pigeons!). I'll look forward to your report(s). :-)
Hm, yes, you have a point. A big part of what she liked about the benches was climbing on them. These look a bit too tall for that. I'm trying to gauge their height from the photo - a metre, maybe?
Too tall, with the plinth, to clamber up and too wide to sit successfully astride, I think, with the added disadvantage of being rounded and shiny. I haven't looked closely at any of the trails but I'd guess the Olympic park one is the most toddler-friendly as much of the walk is through actual parkland.
