Hello, flâneurs! I spent a few days in Toulouse recently for a conference and spent my spare time rambling around the city taking photos. These are from my tour of the living city, and these are from the city of the dead.

Thank you. I'm very fond of cemeteries. Any time I pass a churchyard, I'm on the lookout for interesting gravestones and/or beautiful lighting.

Thank you so much for posting these! I've always wanted to see Toulouse and I can't afford to go there at the moment. :P Especially for the city of the dead pictures, because I love visiting cemeteries & the like but most travellers don't seem to share my proclivities! ♥

Oho! I love cemeteries. France is filled with large, intricate and well-maintained ones. I imagine Catholicism is a big part of the reason for this.
