For my first June Challenge I decided to do III. (c).
My guide of choice was the Good Beer Guide 2011. To determine which pub I used the random page feature of RGL whose first result I ignored since I had been there before. The second result was one I hadn't been to before so this was my destination. Its location gave me an excuse to use the Greenwich Foot Tunnel for the first time and to wander around Mudchute Park.
To start my journey I intended to take a 188 to Greenwich but just missed one as it went past. Instead I caught a 47 as Deptford High Street at which point I started my walk to my destination.

The first thing to catch my eye was a crane in between some angular buildings.

A path through some arches.

Construction Vehicles in their natural habitat?

An underused stile.

Duck!

Isle of Dogs Pumping Station.

Almost there!

My final destination. The Gun, E14. Where I had a decent lunch which mostly consisted of cow. I then walked back Canary Wharf to get a tube home.

Ventilation Shaft 1 which looks like a landed UFO if you ask me.

Interesting things I saw on the way
