What's your ideal fantasy version of a June challenge walk?
So, we're nearly halfway through the June challenge 2013 and whether you're in or out this year there must be walks you'd like to do but can't for various reasons. So what's your ideal fantasy version of a June challenge walk? Which walk? Where? When? Who with? Any other details you want to share?
I'd like to get at least 7 flaneurs (or 7 teams) together at a bus stop in central Birmingham* and all do bus challenge I. c with each flaneur/team choosing a different number from 3 upwards.Or a beer glass walk around GCHQ for circular lolz.
* Or any large conurbation with cheap one-day all-zone bus passes.

I suppose my fantasy June challenges would take place in faraway destinations. I yearn for a holiday and to travel further afield than just around London!
Following the lines of the Trans-Siberian railway or a beer glass walk in Prague, and so on. :)

I'll take the Trans-Mongolian railway walk through Ulan Bator in preference to anywhere on the Trans-Siberian perhaps? I need to refresh my mind-map of the T-S.
One of my flist has done some urban walking in the ex-Soviet 'stans, which was interesting to hear about but probably too adventurous for me.

I would like to do doing something different III. d with several flâneurs (or teams) all starting at the same point with slightly different instructions (e.g. second left+first right, first left+third right, etc) and with extra rules for what to do when you encounter another flâneur/team. Since this is a fantasy version, I would also like this to occur in a place where there's a significant chance of such encounters actually happening.
(I did this many years ago in Bloomsbury with a psychogeographical group, but it wasn't very interesting. We [my companion and I] didn't knowingly encounter any of the other participants, nor did we see many other people [I think it might have been a Sunday]. And I knew the area fairly well at the time so didn't even find any new things. Oh, and there weren't any rules for encountering other participants — that's something new I want.)

Birmingham might work well for a post-June challenge as it's central for the country, all the main in-coming stations are within walking distance, it has multiple bus routes at many stops, it's cheap for passes, and packed with worthwhile places to eat. I'm not sure I'll be up for it any time soon though and it'd probably be easier to organise massed flanage in London and I like your suggestion for picking a warreny area and seeing if people's paths crossed during III.d (especially on a time-limit basis so people stuck in loops are more likely to pile up together - of course, one could rig this possibility in advance). In either case a meet-up for food first seems sensible so participants are more likely to recognise each other (although I've never been above wearing coloured sashes or silly hats for street games). The bus version has the double decker problem that Team N=1or2 would need to stay downstairs while Team N=3+ might be more likely to be found upstairs.
If one is in a familiar or environmentally unengaging area then random people-caused encounters are probably the best source of anecdotage.
