Giant street performance, Liverpool, 20-22 April 2012

[community profile] flaneurs seems to love GIANT street art so I thought I'd make sure you're aware of this event.

A giant puppet of a little girl has "woken up" in Liverpool's Stanley Park, to mark the start of a three-day street theatre event in the city. The 30ft (9m) tall wooden puppet will walk through the streets of Liverpool over the weekend, as she plays out a story inspired by the Titanic. A 50ft (15m) tall puppet of her uncle will arrive in the city about 14:30 BST and the pair will meet up on Sunday.

I know that giant little girl!

She came to London a few years ago, with an elephant. I followed the elephant through the streets for a while.
