Request for June challenge reports and feedback [poll]

Hello Flâneurs! If you have any pending June challenge reports, please get them in ASAP since I’ll be doing a roundup within the next week.

Also a request for feedback. I’ve been wondering for a while whether doing the challenge in a solstice month is a bad idea. June is generally quite hot in London, and last year I backed out on doing one of the challenges because I couldn’t face the heat. Would an equinox month be better? In practice, unless someone else is willing to admin the challenge, this would mean March, since I have a recurring commitment in September that takes up a lot of my time.

So a poll! This is not binding, just to get an idea of opinions. Please feel free to opinionate in comments too or instead.

Should we switch the Flâneurs challenge month from June to March?

I like June better as it is a go outside in the evenings kind of month for me. I like the extra amount of daylight and warmer weather and less rain. Where as sunset is early enough in March that I don't get to see much sunlight when I leave work.

That said, the only challenge I did this year was the bus one which I did at a weekend, so the available sunlight didn't matter much. I think maybe I'm a bit bored of the challenges now though, to be honest.

March also had snow in London this year I believe! Not good for walking or for public transport!

April seems better than March for me, as there is some sunlight again and less snow.

Of course, this is different in different locations, indeed.

Panama was sunny and hot in March. :)
